When it comes to supporting the arts, we sometimes get asked, “What’s the difference between a ‘donation’ and a ‘sponsorship’ “?
A donation is when an individual, business or corporation makes a cash donation to an arts organization and receives a tax receipt for it. (Delta Stageworks is not yet a registered charity, so we unfortunately do not offer tax receipts for donations.)
A sponsorship is an agreement where a business or corporation sponsors an arts organization in return for agreed upon benefits provided by the organization; like social media marketing, business profile enhancement and/or audience awareness development. A sponsorship can be either in-kind (services or goods at verified value) or direct $ (cash).
A successful corporate sponsorship is one where your business or corporate goals and our audience engagement goals align.
We have opportunities for sponsoring a show, a community event or a community arts program.

IN-KIND EVENT OR PROGRAM SPONSOR
The Delta Stageworks In-kind sponsorship offers companies and businesses a way to invest in the arts through an in-kind investment of verified $ value of goods and services to Delta Stageworks. This could be anything from rehearsal space, to set materials, to raffle prize gifts for an event. Our board works with your business to create a set of benefits – usually social media related – in return for your in-kind sponsorship that aligns with your marketing objectives.

Delta Stageworks was so pleased to have SOUTHLANDS GRANGE CENTRE FOR FARMING & FOOD as the Presenting Sponsor for our February 2026 show at the Red Barn, Tsawwassen, A 1920s Murder Mystery.
