A 1920s Murder Mystery
Presented by Southlands Centre for Farming & Food
Returning February 2026| Red Barn, Southlands Tsawwassen
Inspired by real characters and events from Delta’s Prohibition past, this immersive murder mystery show invited audiences into a world of bootleggers, rum-runners, and secret speakeasies.
When a shocking crime unfolded at Pansy May’s notorious “Goat Ranch” on the border between Tsawwassen and Point Roberts the night took an unexpected turn. Delta Stageworks worked with company members Peg Christopherson and Marilyn Norry to shape a story from lived experiences captured in Lord Don’t Want Me, Devil Won’t Take Me by Delta historians Gary Cullen and Jim Dwight.
Led by award-winning improviser Jeff Gladstone (Tightrope Theatre), alongside Delta Stageworks performers and guest musicians, the evening delivered suspense, laughter, and a touch of old-school glitz.
