Exploring Watercolours for Relaxation and Health – with Meg Neufeld

What do watercolour paints, string, salt, wax, alcohol swabs, aluminum foil, cotton balls, and string have in common? Together, they can be used as a way to mindfully approach the art making experience with openness, creativity and fun! Participants will learn about the health benefits of making art, explore basic watercolour techniques and experiment with a variety of materials to create a one-of-a-kind art piece.
No art experience necessary! All materials are provided.

Cost: $15.00 + fees Max Participants: 20

About Meg: Meg Neufeld is the Co-Founder and Director of People and Culture at Alongside You, has taught at UBC and Douglas College and held positions in private and public organizations. Meg is a practicing artist and runs programs for people of all ages, abilities and diagnoses using her unique perspective on integrating the arts, creativity and mindfulness into health education.
